Bear Facts

One of the very first thing that people notice about my bears when seeing them for the first time is that they all have tilted heads. I felt that this gave my bears an extra bit of charm and helped to give me a trademark for them. I tell people that the head tilt is not a mistake I keep making over and over again - it is quite intentional!

In terms of the nuts and bolts so to speak, I completely joint most of my bears using a lock nut system. On my other bears I use cotter pins to wobble joint them.

All of my bears have glass eyes which make them unsuitable for young children. My bears are intended as collector items and not as toys. Should you be interested in one of my bears for a child please contact me as I may be able to make the same bear using child safe eyes.

All of my bears are raised in a non smoking environment.

Each of my bears has a laminated hang tag that has his or her name on one side and that bear's facts on the other along with my signature.
